The empty kingdom or Deyrn'gwag is a dark realm built on a small, sunless 'planet' where only Ewaroed can survive. When the vampiric race were given their immortal abilities, Iss'rend cursed them by creating an after-realm specifically for their kind where nothing but their 'filth' can thrive.
The world itself is a turn in Iss'rend's belief and as such brought her torment and nothingness.
